Our Inspiring Story

In 1975, what began as a modest vision in Delhi laid the foundation for what would become one of India’s trusted names in winding wire manufacturing. Founded by Shri Sudhir Agarwal, GK Winding Wires started with a simple belief that consistent quality, long term partnerships, and continuous improvement would always create long term value.

From a small manufacturing setup to a multi location organisation serving customers across India, our journey has been shaped by perseverance, innovation, and the trust of generations of customers and employees. Over the decades, we evolved alongside India’s growing electrical and industrial ecosystem, constantly investing in advanced technology, modern manufacturing practices, and process excellence.

As the industry transformed, so did we. From copper winding wires to specialised aluminium products, rectangular wires, continuously transposed conductors (CTC), and insulation solutions, GK Winding Wires expanded its capabilities to meet the changing needs of transformers, motors, energy, infrastructure, and industrial applications.

What has remained unchanged, however, is our commitment to doing things the right way with integrity, accountability, customer focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Today, with manufacturing facilities across India and a growing presence in domestic and global markets, GK Winding Wires stands as a reflection of five decades of resilience, learning, and progress. But for us, this journey is still only the beginning.
